Pritchardia affinis (4X10 inch tree pot)
Medium sized fan palm that would be worth trying outdoors in mild areas of Southern California or South Florida where frost are rare. Large fan shaped grey-green leaves. Grows moderately fast once established. This species likes good drainage and seems to thrive in rocky volcanic soils (ie. mostly rock with a little soil). Full sun. Fertilize several times per year for faster growth. Outdoors in Zones 10 to 11 or indoors in a sunny spot. The plants are ready to move into 12 inch pots.
