Plumeria "Gold Star" 14 to 18 inch cutting
Bright yellow 3 inch blooms. Medium sized plants branch about every 16 to 20 inches. Lightly fragrant. Flowers last about 2 days in a bud vase. This cultivar is deciduous and will be leafless in the winter from about Thanksgiving until late March. Root cuttings in a sterile mix with excellent drainage. Add course perlite to most commercial potting mixes; I use a mix of about 15% perlite. Water with Superthrive solution or other root stimulator. Cuttings root best in the spring and summer. Plumeria requires a high phosphorous fertilizer and full sun for best blooms.
