Pinanga speciosus (5.5 inch square pot)
Medium sized palm native to the Philippines. Dark purplish crownshaft. Can reach 15 to 20 ft. tall after many years. Pinnate arching leaves are about 8 ft. long. Soil high in organic matter with good drainage. Partial shade and protection from wind. Keep moist. Does not tolerate cool growing conditions. This is a lowland tropical rain forest palm. Zones 10B to 11 or indoors.
