Nyctanthes arbor-tristis (Plant in 5.5 inch square Pot)

Common Name: parijat. Family: Verbenaceae. Very fragrant 3/4 inch white flowers with an orange calyx tube. Flowers open just before sunset and are highly fragrant at night. Small tree native to India. Begins to bloom at about 2 to 2.5 years old. In Hawaii, it can bloom several times per year. In other areas blooming may occur mainly in the summer. Full sun. Drought tolerant when established in the ground. Out doors in USDA Zones 9B to 11. Be sure to have a 12 inch pot ready to repot these plants.
